NBA Betting: Oklahoma City Thunder @ Golden State Warriors

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Golden State Warriors Thurs. April, 11, 2013 10:30 p.m. ET

The Oklahoma City Thunder continue to stay in the hunt for the top seed in the Westen Conference. The San Antonio Spurs are currently the top team in the West, but the Thunder are threatening to rise to No. 1 if they’re able to play solid in the final stretch.

Coming into this season, the Thunder were considered the favorite to reach the NBA Finals for a second straight season in Las Vegas odds and may very well be able to win the West once again. The Spurs may pose a challenge for the Thunder in the NBA playoffs, but as of right now Oklahoma City have their sights set on clinching home-court advantage.

On Thursday, the Thunder will one the road against one of the best home teams in the league. The Golden State Warriors will look to improve their standings in the West with a win over Oklahoma City at Oracle Arena.

Although the Thunder will enter the postseason as the number one or two seed in the West, Kevin Durant and company will still be playing at a high level in the final games of the regular season with an emphasis on locking up home court.

With that being said, Oklahoma City won’t be taking this game against the up-and-coming Warriors lightly. A win will be the team’s goal and coming out on top will be crucial as the Thunder aim to take down the Warriors on their home floor.

Containing Stephen Curry and All-Star David Lee will be the team’s main focus. If both players aren’t able to get into a groove, Oklahoma City will get the win on Thursday night with relative ease while covering the 4 1/2 point spread.
