NBA Betting: Milwaukee Bucks @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Milwaukee Bucks @ Oklahoma City Thunder Weds. April 17, 2013 8 p.m. ET

The Oklahoma City Thunder were officially able to lock up the top seed in the Western Conference recently taking over that spot over the San Antonio Spurs. Kevin Durant and company have been unstoppable as of the late winning eight of the last 10 games and hitting their stride at just the right time with the NBA playoffs getting underway this weekend.

Before heading into the postseason against an unknown opponent at this point in time, the Thunder will face-off against the Milwaukee Bucks in the regular-season finale on Wednesday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

With both teams having nothing to play for in this matchup on Wednesday, the scales may tilt in the favor of the Bucks. The Thunder are arguably the best team in the West right now and have favorable Las Vegas odds to win it all this season, but Monta Ellis and company may be able to take down the defending West champions on Wednesday.

It remains to be seen at this point in time which stars will or will not be playing on Wednesday, but the point spread is fairly telling with the oddsmakers not confidence head coach Scott Brooks will play Durant or Russell Westbrook.

Although the Bucks may put up a solid effort against the number seeded Thunder in the regular-season finale, Oklahoma City’s second unit will still pull out the win on Wednesday night with this team just being too good on their home floor this season regardless of the players on the floor.

Expect a big game from players like Kevin Martin and Serge Ibaka depending on whether or not they are given the nod by Brooks. As for the Bucks, Ellis and Larry Sanders will be the ones to watch.
