NBA Betting: Miami Heat @ Charlotte Bobcats
Miami Heat @ Charlotte Bobcats Fri. April 5, 2013 8 p.m. ET
The defending NBA champion Miami Heat will go for their 59th victory of the season on Friday night going up against the lowly Charlotte Bobcats on the road. Although the Bobcats have turned things around as of late and appear to be a team that might finally breakout of their funk in the near future with Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson leading the way, Charlotte will struggle against the champions regardless of the stars expected to sit.
As predicted, the Heat were the favorites to win it all this season in Las Vegas with the Big 3 intact and the team finally hitting their stride last season. This year has been no different in comparison to last year’s performance with LeBron James dominating the competition on a nightly basis and Dwyane Wade embracing the secondary role along with Chris Bosh.
LeBron is on pace to win an NBA MVP award once again this year, but may sit the rest of the regular season due to tightness in his hamstring. Even though it was take quite a bit for the superstar not to play from day to day, the one-time NBA champion will miss this matchup along with Ray Allen and Wade.
Despite the absence of Wade, LeBron and Allen, the Heat should roll over the lowly Bobcats with Bosh getting the job done for Miami. Henderson and Walker may threaten to make a game of it on their home floor, but in the end the Heat should continue to dominate.
A favorable player prop bet to consider is the Bosh’s point total. Currently, Bosh’s Over/Under for his final point total is 22. Solid bet in my opinion with the offense flowing through the perennial All-Star against arguably the worst team in the league.
